Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born on 22nd February 1983 is an American comedian actor, actress, TV host as well as executive producer and screenwriter. She was the winner of the show on NBC's Last Comic Standing 2008 and is now the host of the syndicated dating show Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.
In 2017 Shlesinger hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth & Iliza on Freeform. From 2022, she has released six comedy specials for Netflix. Her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show debuted on Netflix in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to a Jewish family from New York City. [6] She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family relocated to when she was a baby. She attended Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she learned Spanish as well as being a part of the school's improv group.
Shlesinger has performed on ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She was part of Semester at Sea. She transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned a degree in film. She also honed editing and writing skills and became a member of one of the campus's comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

After graduating from college, Shlesinger moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. She was one the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
