Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's athletic talent was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. In only 10 weeks following her first race, Felix placed 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion for the distance of 200 meters. She won the title in 2007. was able to defend her title by beating Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix consistently placed within the top third of each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
